Oklahoma City is known for its booming biotech industry and the region’s craft beer prowess is growing. So why not combine the two for a day at the 2nd annual OKBio BrewFest? Since there’s quite a bit of science going into that pint of beer, we think it’s a perfect pairing. Head over to the Harn Homestead and learn the bioscience of beer from the experts while sampling handcrafted brews and enjoying great music, food and networking. This year’s event will feature 11 local breweries, a local wine shop and a Guthrie distillery. Click here to see a list. The cost to attend is $25. All proceeds benefit the Oklahoma Bioscience Institute.
