If you have been bitten by the back-to-school bug but don’t want to commit to the back-to-school loans, Oklahoma City’s art scene is chalk-full (see what we did there?) of hands-on learning opportunities for art aficionados of all levels. Whether you want to brush up on your basket-weaving or discover your inner Picasso, the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center offers workshops and classes in a variety of mediums. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art also offers a roster of classes geared for both families and adults of all skill levels, including a studio sampler class for those who want to take an art class but aren’t sure where to begin.
