If you have a teenager at home, you know that sometimes you wish there were a way to get them away from the computer or their cell phone. We’ve got a great suggestion for you – and hey, they might even end up earning a gold medal one of these days. The OKC RIVERSPORT Chesapeake Junior Crew offers competitive rowing for kids ages 13 to 19. “But wait!” you say. “My kid doesn’t know anything about rowing.” Not to worry! Rowers come from all backgrounds and all levels of athletic ability. And to top it off, the first two weeks of practice are free so your kid can test the waters (pun intended) to see if it’s right for them! Practices are Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Find out more and join today!
