OKC is full of great districts where you can shop, play and eat. From Bricktown to the burgeoning Film Row and Plaza District, OKC has several growing (and exciting) pockets. One of the metro’s true hidden gems though is the Asian District. Located on Classen Blvd., between Northwest 23rd and Northwest 30th Streets, the Asian District serves as the hub for Asian culture in our community.
Amazing restaurants and supermarkets appeal to the metro’s large Asian population as well as hungry tourists and locals who crave a taste of the Orient. Of course we are a little biased so don’t take our word for it. A reporter from the New York Times drove all the way to OKC in 2007 to try the famous food in the Asian District. You can read his experiences here. Also, check out GreaterOKC.tv for a more in depth look at the Asian District.
