Sure, you know that the Oklahoma River is home to Olympic athletes and some of the best boathouse facilities around, but did you know that kids can also get their kicks at the recently-opened SandRidge Youth Pavilion? Adventure abounds at this outdoor playground, which includes the Sky Trail course, the Sky Slide, the Rumble Drop, an outdoor climbing wall and an adjacent playground.
While the area is focused on the youth of OKC, kids of all ages are sure to get some thrills at this newest river attraction no matter your age. The SandRidge Sky Trail is the world’s tallest adventure course with six levels of challenges that will have you climbing, jumping and zig-zagging to the top. Looking for a fast track down to the ground? Visitors can get their adrenaline pumping at the Sky Slide, the tallest stainless steel slide in the country, or at the Rumble Drop, a free-fall base jump platform.
