City Care is giving stability and purpose to the less fortunate in Greater Oklahoma City by offering diverse programs to help those in need. City Care is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that offers services to better the homeless, educate OKC kids and make volunteers the easy resolution to big problems.
Here’s a quick glance at some of their programs:
- The Whiz Kids program helped serve 750 Oklahoma students during the 2012-2013 school year.
- Each day the OKC Day Shelter assists 300 people with access to healthcare services, internet services for finding jobs and access to housing solutions.
- The Food Outreach program by City Care prepares food baskets for the elderly, disabled and low-income families of Oklahoma City.
