Art Awesomeness

Oklahoma City is home to a pretty awesome downtown art gallery – The Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The Museum in itself is something to brag about. But we are here to share a few things about the Museum with you that perhaps you didn’t know – and that perhaps might make it even more awesome for you (if that is even possible). Did you know that the Museum offers adult travel tours to other cities to check out art throughout the region? In the past art enthusiasts have headed with Museum staff to places like Dallas, Houston and even New York City. And we bet you didn’t know that kids as young at 15 months can take classes at the Museum to begin experiencing art in a variety of ways, from painting to sculpture to puppets. Or how about the fact that you can experience dinner in the Museum Café followed by a movie in the adjacent theatre, all for one low fixed price? See, we told you our Museum was awesome.
