So you want to be a cool kid but you don’t know where to start? How about at deadCENTER film festival right here in the heart of OKC? This up-and-coming festival has already been ranked as one of the 20 “coolest” film festivals in the world, and this year will be no different. The festival has movies for every taste—115 of them, to be exact. Start plotting your must-see movie list with their interactive festival schedule.

But you know what is even cooler than hitting up awesome film festivals? Getting involved in your community, of course! This year, deadCENTER film festival has teamed up with Myriad Gardens to offer free outdoor movies at the Myriad Gardens Great Lawn at 9:15 p.m. on the evenings of June 5-9 in exchange for donations toward the ongoing tornado relief effort. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for volunteer opportunities. Films include The Rolling Stones: Charlie is My Darling, The Last of the Mohicans, The Short Game and Stevie Nicks: In your Dreams.
