Looking for some outdoor fun but it’s still just a tad too chilly outside? Look no further than the Myriad Gardens. On Wednesdays during the month of March, they are offering a Reading Rainforest in the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory. Children can listen to a story in the balmy comfort of this indoor conservatory, which includes 13,000 square feet of plant displays. The story is followed by a craft and a short hike. Or, if your youngsters would rather explore on their own, enjoy free admission to the Crystal Bridge on the 25th of every month (in honor of the Gardens’ 25th anniversary) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check out www.myriadgardens.org/event-calendar for a full schedule of events.
