Expressing creativity is good for OKC-ers of all ages. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has a number of programs that will make the art of creating a fun-filled family activity.
Let your child flex his or her creative juices on the weekends with “Drop-In Art” from 1 to 4 p.m. With a different theme each week, kids have the opportunity to paint, glue, draw, rip, scissor and generally let their inner Picassos fly. “Drop-In Art” is free with paid museum admission.
Since the museum is filled to the brim with amazing art, why not use it as the source of your inspiration? Once a month, the museum hosts “Drop-In Drawing” where instructors provide basic instruction to help you along the path to creating something wonderful. “Drop-In Drawing” is free with paid museum admission and materials are provided.
