If you’ve been hanging around The Better Life for long, you might have heard us talk about a lovely, up and coming district known as the Film Exchange District – sometimes the locals just call it Film Row. This gem is located along Sheridan Avenue between Classen Boulevard and Walker Avenue, and is home to a number of businesses, including a yummy pizza joint, Joey’s Pizzeria. These days, Joey’s has a lovely, mostly new, across-the-street neighbor – The Paramount, OKC. Enter its doors and you’ll find coffee, wine, pie, and, of course, movies. Sounds splendid, right?
Located in the 700 block of West Sheridan, The Paramount sits in a building that was once a distribution facility for Paramount Pictures. Today, patrons can stop by and enjoy tasty treats from their menu – grilled cheese, soup, cookies, pie, coffee, and more. After gobbling up something delicious, we suggest you head over to their 70-seat theater where they screen a wide variety of movies.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill place to catch the latest blockbuster. Click here to find out more info about their hours, showings, prices, facility rentals, etc.
