Did You Hear that Thunder?

No, the Oklahoma City Thunder haven't started another season of rocking the Chesapeake Energy Arena just yet . . . but you're getting closer. This thunder is something we've wanted to tell you about for months, but due to some technical difficulties, we had to hold off. Thankfully, the time has come and we're sure you'll love it.

Drumroll, please . . . You know that we're pretty enthusiastic when it comes to the Myriad Gardens (how could we not be?). Thanks to Project 180, this 17-acre outdoor grounds got a much-needed facelift and now it's one of OKC's crown jewels. These days, if you find yourself in the southeast portion of the gardens (kitty-corner from the Chesapeake Energy Arena) you may here a rumbling. If you follow your ears, you will find yourself at the Thunder Fountain. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Thunder Fountain is a great (and free) place for your kids to play and burn off some extra energy. So grab some sunscreen, throw the kids in their swimsuits (or some clothes you don't mind getting wet) and head down for some end-of-the-summer fun in this water wonderland.
