As the temperature goes up, you may think that the number of options for free outdoor fun start to dwindle. Luckily, the Parks & Recreation Department has just the thing to keep your kids nice and cool – and entertained – on those hot summer days. Kids of all ages will love splashing their way through one of the 17 spraygrounds available throughout the city. With options as far north as NW 122nd St., and as far south as SW 74th St., there is sure to be an option close to you. Spraygrounds are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 3. So grab your swimsuit and your sunscreen, and get ready to beat the heat at one of these locations:
