The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a poignant and ultimately inspiring remembrance of April 19, 1995. The city and nation were irrevocably changed that day, when homegrown terrorists bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, killing 168 people and injuring many hundreds more. At 1:30 p.m. every Friday, the museum hosts the First Person Summer Series for in-person accounts from bombing survivors, victims’ family members, law enforcement officials and others with gripping stories to tell.
