Resident Spotlight
University of Oklahoma (OU) graduate, Rashida Wesley, originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, found a home away from home in Oklahoma.
Wesley graduated from OU with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. Not soon thereafter, she found herself working with the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center specializing in navigation and landing systems.
Wesley was pleasantly surprised that OKC offers a variety of exciting activities for every age group and background. Wesley has enjoyed supporting the OKC Thunder, as well as attending many free events such as comedy shows and art, jazz and reggae festivals. No matter what the weekend brings, Wesley enjoys strolling around Bricktown or partaking in the many different food truck offerings around OKC.
It is evident that Wesley would tell someone who is thinking about moving to OKC that this is the place to be! The community and economy is rapidly growing and the cost of living is reasonable. There are many great restaurants and entertainment venues, and the sense of community here is amazing!
