Resident Spotlight
Derrick Rollins came to Federal Aviation Administration Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center from New Orleans, Louisiana. Rollins is a Project Specialist currently working on Business Process Re-engineering and Robotic Process Automation.
You can imagine his curiosity coming to Oklahoma City when leaving behind a city, such as New Orleans, that is rich in culture and history. The vibrant Native American history in Oklahoma piqued his interest. He's enjoyed visiting the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
When talking about the Oklahoma City area, Rollins said excitedly, “Bricktown is one of my favorite places in OKC! Although there are other interesting and unique districts that complement the area, Bricktown really has it all. I love spending a day at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and watching the OKC Dodgers play, then visiting one of the restaurants or enjoying some of the local nightlife. There is just something about OKC that wraps its arms around you and makes it hard to leave. You’ll be glad you came!”
