It’s Thunder season

In Russ we trust! With some new faces like Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis, Ersan Ilyasova and Alex Abrines joining our guys Westbrook, Adams, Kanter, Payne, Collison and the rest, OKC’s NBA hoopsters look to defend their Northwest Division title with the same old Thunder toughness and grit in head coach Billy Donovan’s second season. The Thunder tip off their 2016-17 campaign with preseason games across the pond (see below) and in Dallas and Tulsa, in addition to home games at Chesapeake Arena on Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. the Timberwolves and Tuesday, Oct. 18 vs the Nuggets. The regular season begins on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Philadelphia, followed by the first home contest on Friday, Oct. 28 vs. Phoenix. After quite the tumultuous offseason, we’re just so glad actual basketball is finally back. Thunder Up!
