We knew that Oklahoma City's Paseo District is an oasis for artists and other creative types, but we hadn't realized just how magical the place really is. The Midsummer Fairy Ball on Paseo, postponed from earlier this summer due to hotter than you-know-what weather, flits into the Paseo beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The young and the young at heart are encouraged to come dressed as a character from an enchanted garden – bug, blossom, elf, gnome, you name it – for an evening of crafts, music, dance and whimsy. Follow the pixie dust to the Fairy Green at N.W. 28th Street and Dewey, west of the Paseo Grill.
