LEGO My City

What do you get when you cross more than 2 million LEGOs with some serious imagination? The Oklahoma City skyline. Doubters need only venture to the OK CityScape exhibit, a project of The Exchange, at 1100 N. Broadway in Automobile Alley. Boasting such new additions as the Devon Tower and the renovated Myriad Botanical Gardens, OK CityScape also features moving cars and flashing lights – albeit the smallish kind – to conjure up this inventive diorama. Kids can also create their own works in the Kids Construction Zone, with a workshop Saturday, Dec. 17, focused on painting with light. Oh, and storytelling is at 6:30 p.m. every Friday. Proceeds directly benefit Oklahoma City Educare, an early childhood education center serving at at-risk children. Tickets are at the door and $5 for adults, $3 for kids under 12. Children under three get in free.
