It's a Great State

Oklahoma may be a young state, but that doesn't mean it's without history. Founded in 1927, the Oklahoma Heritage Association works to preserve our state's unique history while promoting pride. Located near Midtown, the organization's home base is also home to the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum. From Wiley Post and Reba McEntire to Mat Hoffman and Will Rogers and more, you'll discover Oklahomans past and present through interactive exhibits. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors (62 and up), and $5 for students (6 to 17). Children under 5 are admitted for free.
