Ghouls Gone Wild

Both tricks and treats will be in abundance Saturday, Oct. 29, for Ghouls Gone Wild, otherwise known as the 5th annual Oklahoma Gazette's Halloween Parade. The walking undead will lurch – or sprint, depending on your zombie movie point of reference – into action at 7 p.m. that evening, winding from NE 3 St. and E.K. Gaylord Blvd. to NW 12 and Walker Ave. in Midtown. Unlike years past, the Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne and the March of 1,000 Skeletons will be taking a break (the band is on tour but promises to be back next year) but parade organizers promise enough spooky surprises to more than make up for the loss. This year's grand marshal will be local alt-rock music favorite the SpyFM.com.
