Since 1953, Dale Rogers Training Center, Inc. (DRTC) has provided employment for individuals with disabilities through paid vocational training, in-house programs and work opportunities. Originally founded as a safe and caring educational community for those with developmental disabilities, the training center is the largest of its kind in the state of Oklahoma and currently employs 1,100 people a year — 900 of those are employees with disabilities.
The agency uses its entrepreneurial spirit to teach self-sufficiency to its trainees, with the belief that disability does not mean inability to contribute to the community. In addition to marketable vocational skills, DRTC provides its employees with financial autonomy, pride and self-confidence. Volunteer with DRTC.
