In the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, the gorgeous green space better known as the Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory has, for decades, delighted young and old alike. Now better than ever thanks to a huge renovation as part of Project 180, the 17-acre garden promises to be in full splendor for its official reopening, Festival on the Green, on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Hosted by the Myriad Gardens Foundation and Devon Energy, the day-long festivities begin at 8:30 a.m. and will include music, theater performances, storytelling, a farmer's market, games, children's activities and much more. Heck, there's even a dog park for your beloved canine. But stick around for the evening and a free concert by country music star Pat Green on the Gardens' Grand Event Lawn.
